A baby panda made its first public appearance to a chorus of "ooos" and "awwws" at the San Diego Zoo. The 5-month-old male cub was brought out to meet its fans for a couple hours Thursday morning. The baby panda is named Xiao Liwu, which means "little gift" in Chinese.

Cute Puma Cub Makes Her Public Debut
Missoula, a seven week old female puma cub, made her furry debut on Wednesday, May 30th at the Tierpark Zoo in Berlin, Germany. What makes her debut so special? She is the first successful birth at the zoo in 22 years!

Baby Giraffe Born At Bronx Zoo To Make Public Debut
Anyone who hasn't ever seen a baby giraffe should be sure to pop by the Bronx Zoo. That's where the Wildlife Conservation Society is welcoming a new female Baringo giraffe that was born earlier this month. Next week, the newborn giraffe will make its public debut in the zoo’s "African Plains" area, according to a media release from the Bronx Zoo.
